Uriel Stülpnagel, cello
Uriel Stülpnagel studied at the Stuttgart School of Music under Professor Werner Taube and the Melos Quartet.
After graduating in orchestra and music teaching he completed his postgraduate performance studies with Professor Raimund Korupp at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts. At the same time he also studied with Professor Eldar Isakatze / Tiflis and attended a number of master classes, including with Uzi Wiesel / Sidney. He won several prizes in 1990/1991, including the Tonkünstlerwettbewerb Baden-Württemberg.
Uriel Stülpnagel has recorded for the SWR and Bayrische Rundfunk public broadcasting authorities and was a member of the orchestra for the musical "The Phantom of the Opera" from 2002 to 2004.
He is a member of the WORTON ensemble and the Early Music Ensemble with which he has played many concerts in Germany and abroad. He is currently playing with the orchestra for the musical "Elisabeth", in the German Pop Orchestra and in the Baden-Baden Philharmonic.
Uriel Stülpnagel teaches several cello classes in the Stuttgart region. He is also the initiator of the internet platform klassikwelt.com which offers classical music-related services.
